But you may never know. for all we know, velociraptor could have jumped 7 feet in the air! (doubt it) And, if you go get a bat and start swinging it, what about how people say there all swift and fast? It can dodge it most likely. It could have been one of those predators that fight back.

It's bone structure tell us it had the potential to jump just that.

Exactly, if it did jump like that, even get pushed into a tree, it would pretty much be crippled, like what nova said.

I'm sorry, but I may have missed something. I think he was just ill-informed; you know, they way kids his age can be after getting brain-washed by the media.
He was probably trying to sound better informed with the smiley which added to the "obviousness" of his statement. Sure, it didn't make much sense and it wasn't the most factual post, but I fail to see what he did wrong. Please let me know if I've missed something here. I realize that G98 is "notorious" here for his spamming, flaming, trolling, etc., but aren't you sending a bad message to users by retorting with a heated post? I know it can be frustrating Andrew, but he seems to have made an innocent post here. Again, please let me know if I am not up to date with his actions. I could be totally wrong, but I also don't want to scare users away from this site (since we all understand that our audience is an average age of about 10 years).

I don't want be a gravedigger, and dig up and old post, but anyway, the only real way to find out what a dinosaur would do or (raptor) would be to remake it, scientists can and do, have the technology to do this, but messing with nature and time, is very dangerous.
