Need Help With Skinning

Hi could someone please help me change the colour of the dinosaurs texture. without messing up the dinosaurs texture pattern. like "Rex_Pwns_Spino_FTW" Dinosaur he made On this link: https://jurassicmods.darkbb.com/t2207-return-of-the-noobie-my-4th-skin

I know there are tutorials on Jpog Skinning & Modding. But none of them say or show the way that "Rex_Pwns_Spino_FTW" Does It.

if anyone could please type down some instructions on how to do it help will be appreciated.
