In the JPOG folder, in Models - why is there a _lo and a _hi.tmd tmd of all the dinosaurs?

where were you when they passed out brains? lo= a low quality model, hi= better quality, better rendered, more polygons. But high wuality for JPOG isn't really high, right now the graphics of that game look like poop. In fact that game is probally older that the dinosaurs!
