Re: Triceratops vs Rex...
Wrong. In the skull there is a limited amount of room. Or most of that room goes to the brain, making a very smart creature, or most of the room goes to the jaw muscles, making a creature with a powerfull bite, or it goes to other stuff, like the eyes.cunfuzzed wrote:Wrong. Brain size has nothing to due with bite force. Pachycephalosaurus pretty much already explained why, except for one detail: their diet is totally different from ours. Their diet requires them to eat things that are generally much tougher, which requires stronger jaws.Universal genesis wrote:That's because a human has a big brain, the larger the brain, the less powerfull the bite. Our bite basicly can't kill anything exept if it's realy small. A Chimpanzee has a smaller brain but a stronger bite force.
Bite force has nothing to due with brain size, and everything to due with what the jaw is designed to eat.
I'm pretty sure a Hercules beatle is a herbivore.Coyotefang wrote:
Ants have a stroger bite force in proportion to a friggen hercules beatle.
Spiders use venom, they don't need a powerfull bite.Coyotefang wrote:
Ants have a stronger bite force in size to any spider of the same size, the spider has the bigger jaw.
Loins have a bigger brain.Coyotefang wrote:Bears have stronger bite force than lions, guess whose jaws bigger?
