Zombie Rescue Mission: Operation Nuked

Prologue: Carter stood at the noise of an engine rumbling. He left the Airport Lounge, and went to the entrance. He switched a light on for the front doors. He poked his head out. "Hello?" Carter said aloud. The Airport was on a little steep hill, so he could see from a distance down.He saw a black sedan driving faster than a NASCAR racer. He covered his ears, then when it went away uncovered them. He turned to the right, and down the little hill, and yards away, he saw the car going towards a power center. He had never noticed it there. You could only see a top part of it, because the land it's on slopes down. He quietly got in his car, and followed the sedan without them noticing. When the sedan stopped, 2 men in black cloaks got out, and entered the large mysterious building. Carter quietly got and, but the lights inside the car flicked on, and stayed for a while. What if they see it? He thought. When it turned off, he walked to the door, and sunk in his stomach in slid in. He looked around there were hanging lights, like large lanterns, flickering above him. This place smelled fowl, and looked dirty. He heard people talking in a room, he walked passed an open door, with a large window, with people on the other side, chattering. It was a listening room, and there lay a set of headphones. He crawled on the nasty floor, and got under the headphone holders, like a slight desk connected to the wall. He put his right hand up above, without looking, and felt for the headphones, he felt a leather smooth feeling, and grabbed it and pulled it down. He put them on, and listened....

"We have to start it by tomorrow."

"We wouldn't have enough time."

"Would you rather right now?!"

Carter heard a third then a fourth voice chattering in the background.

"Okay, we'll start the nuke tomorrow"

Nuke?!

"How much will it kill?" At least 4 cities at the most, highest ever was 8."

"Okay, activate it ,but don't start the timer, we'll set it for 20 hours tomorrow."

Carter took off the headphones, and crawled around the wall, then rushed out the building, and rove back to the Airport.

He called out, "Angelia! Where are you?!"

He heard shouting in the distances. He looked out the window, and opened it slightly. He eavesdropped them again. "Why did you start it?!"

"I didn't mean to!"

"Great, we have 20 hours to leave now! We all might die, we should be off in France tonight, but no, we might die!"

"If we set it tomorrow like this, it would be the--"

"YOU TWO! GET IN THE CAR NOW!"

The obeyed, got in, and they drove even faster then before. Carter was the only person who knew about the nuke starting. Next place he went, was the town hall. They started an evacuation, and warned the state. Carter left the evacuation, since he was single, he left alone ,and drove miles away. When he left his city, and entered another, then another, He looked at the sunset, then it rose higher and higher by the second, and everything was catching in flames. That wasn't the sun, it was the nuke. He drove faster, and was on an empty country side road, with bursts of fire after him, and clouds of smoke with it. The ground was rumbling beneath him, and before he knew it, the smoke and fire caught up with him, it flipped the car, once, twice, then over and over and kept flipping, then stopped. Carter opened his eyes. Luckily, it landed on it's wheels. The car was totaled. He got out, and slammed the door shut, then looked behind him, burnt trees still on fire, dead creatures turned to dust, one of the tires was all the way down the road.He looked in front, same thing, but the tire.He saw a person in the road, he ran up and said,

"Are you alright? Do you know where anyone is" The persons head looked down, the hair was all messed up and burnt, then he-it looked at him, it's skin was almost all gone, blood spluttering out of it's body everywhere. This thing was dead, but walking. It looked at carter, then screamed in a odd way ,and plunged toward him, snapping his jaws at him, saliva slobbering everywhere. Carter punched it in the face and it's head rolled off. Today was the most frightening , but weird day of his life. These people died in the crashed, but somehow manage to walk and eat, off of people. Carter saw many more at the end of the street. They all rolled their necks, and yawned, but like a bear noise, and stretched their broken limbs, then stopped, and looked straight at carter, they did their yawning thing again and ran toward him, not walk, ran, and waved their arms back and forth, and snapping their jaws. Carter knew, that the nuke killed them, but made them like......zombies or some sort. But if he turned back, there would be even more... But some people MUST have had weapons. Like the police. Would they be able to still use them? Like guns and sorts? Before he could ran, he was tackled by one, and was to late to do anything... His last moments, could be having his face bit off......

Carter isn't even a main character, it gives you a description of why and how it happened, well not really why it happened but how.

Oh, I ment I can't wait for the story to start.
