Snow Mod Maybe?

You know, they have all kinds of weather EXCEPT snow. Couldn't somebody skin the rain into snow?

So what.And evilrex made a artic terrain. And the hurracane mod REPLACED the thunder storms it was not cloned (Which you can not do), but if I find out the file where the rain TML or whatever it is then I can do it.

This might not happen.You have to change the rain particle very intensely.I've tried it too,but it just makes the game crash for some reason.

Yeah,sure. I think we could change the terrain and grass dds files to make it snow. But it still requires modding the rain particle to make it look white.Cause all of this that i mentioned,I tried to do too.It worked for only 5 seconds,but the game crashes for some reason ..lets hope whoever might be trying to do this will not experience the same thing.

Yes,snow is good,but I think it would NOT be good for the dinos,as they aren't adapted to this cold weather. Wait I have an idea,maybe we could make a blizzard which is rare that it will kill the dinosaurs and freeze them to death! Kinda like that hurricane mod someone made.

The hurricane mod was made by me.Okay, all you need to do is really find the file rain uses, then someone can mod it to be rare and maybe (I don't know if it's possible) kill dinos.It is only a maybe, I am not sure if it can be done.

You were the one who made that mod? Well,I must say you really made an awesome one! Snow could kill dinosaurs,but I think how to make it kill them is somewhere in the constant ini. file,and changing the color is in the skyrain_L file,and the grass in the detail1555 file,as far as I remember.

Well, I would have to use the thunder storm then, cause rain can't kill them.That means you would have to get rid of thunder storm and replace it with snow. :/

What? Maybe,in a way,we could clone the light rain weather and make it snow,make new particles for snow,then.......I don't know.

well,I've tried to clone weather,but the problem is getting it ingame,which failed for me.

I already told you that anser eh?You CAN NOT clone weather, you can replace it.Before you make snow you of course have to find the file for rain, which I've been looking for, but I can't find it.

Nope, looked there also, I am not sure what type of file it is but it's not there, I've looked.

I don't think they would put it there, I've opened each one before nothing like rain..

Yeah,there is nothing there,but perhaps we can make the sky look like snow,I think that was in the weather ini.file,like,remember ERC's Night Mod?She was able to make the light rain darker.
