Have you ever noticed that certain dinosaurs stick to certain areas like for example:

Allosaurus- Open forest/Scrub
Spinosaurus- Rivers
Hadrosaurs-open grasslands
Dryosaurus- forests
Kentrosaurus- Open forest

Has anyone else noticed this?

Hmm any other species noticed.

I am going to play JPOG to see what I see about any habitat preference.

What dinosaur seems to hang most around mountains?

Edit: Acrocanthosaurus- scrub

Also

Pachy - Heavy Forest and rivers

I noticed this with a combined Edmonto and Pachy exhibit. It was mostly open, with a few trees, and the Pachys tree indicator things was going off. So I put more trees by the River and that fixed the problem. Also, they seem to respong to hills and elevation.

I noticed that Ouranosaurus seem to like Scrub areas more than other herbivores on one of my maps they thrive due to the fact most of the island is Scrub( open areas with low lying plants)

Yes,I always notice this. Why does this happen?Because this is how they usually would behave in their REAL habitat.Like, the Spinosaurus loves fishing and swimming,so thats why the spino in JPOG hangs around rivers.Same thing with Trex, who loves dense forests, etc. and etc. This was just something part of the game. This could be a good idea for an island. Normally, when it's a zoo like environment, people just stuff some trees in there with a pond. But now, we can run some tests with all species and see what they like. Then, like a real zoo, we can adjust their enclousures to their likes. (I feel like a CEO)

Carcarodontosaurus (GEP.V.2) stays always near a river and where a group of trees are. I guess because its where all my herbivores like Edmontosaurus stays near.
