Gray Wolf. They hunt in packs, take down bears, organized, and they just plainly kick ass.

In my opinion, it is the Bull Shark
These things dont kill humans- they mane them to remind them who is the boss.
They arent killing machines- they are Torture machines..... They actually are known to bite ANYTHING that is in site, to check and keep itself in check. They have the raw ability to kill anything from squid to whales. one of he most dangerous place (baced on the Discovery channel) is a Bull Shark Feeding Frenzy.

Firstly, i said animal. We are not considered animals anymore, but ok.

We are still a member of the kingdom 'animalia' and as such, are still an animal. We don't get to stop being something that is inherent in our nature simply because we have gained self-awareness.

It all depends on the timescale. Will they have a chance to make a spear? Or a shotgun?

I think that the winner is a pet cat. Why a pet cat? You ask. Because the cat will kill just for fun! And how it is best equipped for killing is because it is a pet.
