How to Skin

I have gimp. Will that work for skinning?

I don't know if this is the right spot but, yeah it's good. In fact I use GIMP. So if your interested on learning how to use it just ask.

I prefer photoshop, but I may try GIMP some time.

Guys, this is getting kind of off topic, but I'm dumb and don't know how to skin, and I want to skin buildings, can someone tell me how to do that?

I haven't found the building .tml's yet.....I think. If you look in the matlibs, it may be there.

The TML's are the Hex files, right?

They can be converted to .bmps, to skin.

Ya, then you have to convert it to a DDS file.

That's when you put it back to replace the default one.

I found 'em. Thanks. The problem with GIMP is, I can't find a program to convert it into DDS. So I have to have someone else do it for me.

GIMP doesn't do that. But I'm sure you can find DDS converters on Google...Duh....BUt I got one, however, it converts a DDS to anything . Not the other way round.

I've been searching for weeks.

Life can be frustrating. I'm hungry.
