Whilst there are many species undiscovered, the prehistoric ones, such as nessie, are probably false

what about the Puma in New England, they're said not to even exist there. But there have been sightings suggesting not.......

There are many large cats kept as pets, so its possible that one escaped

People are also a sucker for rumours, and can see what they want to see.

Its possible, but not certain (to any relevant degree, probably not true infact, but more probable than nessie)

actually it is illegal to own such an animal in New England, without a permit.

Plus a Puma WAS captured in rhode island, and died in captivity before the population can be brought up again.

Well if they have a permit, they have a puma

Also, because its illegal it doesn't stop it happening. In fact, its more likely to be an escaped pet that went unreported because its illegal. You don't tell anyone your puma escaped as it would land you in jail.

now we know that there is a Puma, even though scientists have suggested that it is a impossibility. people will now keep an eye out.

exactly!! Scientists say after they were hunted off, they were gone from NE, JUST LIKE what happened to the Tazmanian Tiger, some may have survived, but science suggests not.

Whilst pumas would be nice, its not exaclty like they are extince (only in north USA)

No he is supposedly a 'ghost' and a headless one at that. Its just a popular legend, i thought, ya know, it would work.

The thing about ghosts is that when you're dead....you're dead. Not walking around
