High Quality Sky

Today,while i was browising through the JPOG sky files i came across something that didn't look right. It was every sky file in a ppm. file format. I didn't realize what it was but i said what the heck and opened it with the DDS Converter. To my surprise i seen newer higher quality sky! No joke. So I first changed them all over to DDS. files renamed them but the game crashed. So i went back and realized these files are bigger. So i copied the sky files onto the original sky template and then tried it. And i got it. There are some problems though. For the heatwave sky there's now 2 suns, and for the tornado sky there's a line in it left over from the old sky which i didn't cover. However, I'm going to fix these problems and realise it as a new sky mod pack sometime in the future. I have two previews the tornado sky and the heatwave. The heatwave problem has been fixed but in the tornado sky the problem with that is still there you just can't see it, but I am working on fixing this.

This actually sound pretty freakin' awesome! So the new skies are even better quality than the normal high-quality ones?

It's not that they are a higher quality. It's just that they have more cloud texture and better colors which makes them look like a high quality sky. However, unlike high quality graphics and dead skin you can see the skys with low graphics.
