Hello jfgoofy here I'm bringing you all something you can all reply on this topic. You can obviously tell by the title that we're going to talk about inaccuracies in prehistoric documentaries but I'm going to give you two examples and you could do the rest. Here we start of with ''Land of the Mammoth'' I have 2 inaccuracies to tell you on this one the Megaloceros (called by nickname Giant Deer in the special) has it's smallest tines are split up into two different tines. Also the Cave Lion is said to be a complete scavenger plus it rarely hunts and is said to be with the vultures and wolves tearing a replica of the Jarkov Mammoth carcass in one scene made by Crawly Creatures (who also helped the walking with series) as said in one of the seperate making of the land of the mammoth. However the Cave Lion due to it's enormous size it would accutally hunt alot and it wasn't shown tearing at the model it was just the vultures and wolves. And here we got Walking with Dinosaurs here are some inaccuracies. The Ornithocheirus is bigger than it is suposed be, Liopleurodon is about the size of Pliosaurus Funkei (aka Predator X), Apatosaurus is said to be too large for an Allosaurus to attack, Diplodocus hatchlings would probably escape the forest in probably 2 or 3 years and would be with a herd of Diplodcus clearing forests however in the episode they were probably 5 or 6 years old when they left the forest, a species of snake from South America is shown in North America with young Tyrannosaurus and last but not least Utahraptor is shown in Europe. Well I hope you enjoyed my examples now you could reply and add more inaccuracies in documentaries but do not used the ones I said ok? Here is a drawing of the tines on the antlers of Megaloceros. Walking with Monsters - The Proterogrynis couldn't jump or rear up, so it couldn't have killed Arthropleura if it was more accurate
