Look it up. Bluetounge disbanded in 2011. deblob 2 was it's last game released, and an Avengers game was canceled supposedly from said company.

Disney is for kids. Dinosaurs running around killing people, the people cussing, and dieing, is such a good match for Disney.

People kill people in Marvel, and it's much more than the kiddy safe quick swallows, stomps and offscreen kills in all the Jurassic Park films, A kid grew fangs and ate his brothers neck, his parents lock him in a basement for years and he slices his hand off to escape the chains he's trapped in, and then eats his parents alive while carrying his missing hand, then went on a rampage eating people for fun.

That's Marvel, bought by Disney, Marvel is loaded with subjects Jurassic Park never touches upon, because parents don't want their kids seeing that. Things such as canibalistic mutant kids, which I myself find pretty lurid.

You have a point, while Disney let's a franchise be very violent, they will still make childish toys, books, and online games -OHWAIT- Jurassic park had those already.

People from Disney also had a hand in Dinosaur Revolution, which was both violent and accurate.

Cussing? Disney's fantasia had naked demon women, with all the stuff you don't want kids to see, It's not like Jurassic Park's cussing is even worth blocking the ears of a kid, It's like five very minor or very quiet remarks.

Yeah I read the book, it was loads more violent and so what? The movies weren't half that, not even a quarter of that, the most gory and still clearly visible thing in the films was a guys ripped off arm, oh sure a guy got bitten in half by the to rex parents, but that was just quick and in the dark and simply another expendable being expendable.

Dying? There's barely any Disney movies where nobody dies, about none if you only count the ones in theaters.

Basically the only way JP would change under this hypothetical Disney ownership would be more money anda better plot than the third movie.

Seriously, they were filming that movie before they even finished the script, it was a terrible end to the series.

Not sure if this is considered necroposting, but the source code is up for grabs from Activision/Blizzard. I'm pretty sure everyone remembers when that kid on Steam tried to make a mod that revamped the game, but then the people helping him out abandoned the project, leaving just him. Well, I guess Activision/Blizzard cut the deal off after deciding that being a kid after all, he'd be too overwhelmed by the task ahead of him. He was by himself, but we could set up a team ourselves, and if all goes well, we could do something similar, but it might actually be achieved.

That would be great if somebody with great coding skill could help him out. Sounds like a real bummer to be left alone after all that work...

I had written a longer response, but accidentally closed the tab... -_-

Okay, a summary of what I had written: I was working on this project, we never had (or claimed to have) the source code, yes the project was ambitious. We had started with the basic stuff (skinning, placeable lights/speaker posts, etc) But basically weeks after it started, sgt_angel (Sarge) slowly sort of disappeared, and the forum we were using to discuss on did too. I asked another member from the project what happened, and Sarge had something happen that I won't delve much into, but rendered him unable to work on the project. Not to mention it wouldn't be of high importance to him at that point. Anyways. Project died because the leader disappeared, he knew (still not sure if he ever did) how to do the more ambitious stuff, so the project dissipated.

I just created an account to post this, sorry for reviving a dead thread. You can ask other stuff if you want, I guess. But that's what happened to the project in a nutshell.
