Re: PS3 vs XBOX360 vs PC
I do like Xbox, and PC, PS3 I have only played like once so I don't know much about it. PC gets laggy a lot and freezes up on games and doesn't have much memory file. Xbox has good graphics, memory and storage. cool games, make your own default character, so I have to say xbox.

Re: PS3 vs XBOX360 vs PC
For PC, it all depends on memeory storage. Games are only laggy when on old systems with low memory space. Same with game freezing.

Exactly, not everyone has a brand new, gaming, lots-o-memory pc. So it gets a low score overall

Re: PS3 vs XBOX360 vs PC
Besides they are high prices and so is the internet for a pc like that.

Re: PS3 vs XBOX360 vs PC
Oh ya, a good PC can cost more that a PS3 and a XBOX 360 combined.

Re: PS3 vs XBOX360 vs PC
Thing is though, PC is extremely modable. PS2 games (except for JPOG and possible battlefront) arnt modable, and nor are X360...

I just found this topic, and really wanted to add something.
I think you under-rated the PC. Big time. You're probably viewing PC's as cumbersome boxes you buy overpriced from Costco or Staples, etc. But they can actually be more affordable than you think. Here's why:
-EXTREMELY customizable. Emphasis on "extremely." Out of the three, (PS3, Xbox, PC) PC is easily the most customizable. You can get under the hood and replace anything to your heart's content, which includes, but isn't limited to: The case itself, motherboards, RAM, CPUs, Power supply, DVD/Blu-Ray drives, Graphics cards, and much, much more
- Data/Memory storage (space) isn't a huge issue. You can buy a nice quality, internal 500GB hard drive for about $60. And as technology progresses, so do prices. A 1TB (internal) HD can be purchased for about $80. I'm talking fast, 7200rpm, 3gps (which can actually be 6gps in some cases)
-RAM can easily be modified, as long as the pairs match. At least 4GB will end those "laggy games."
-Purchasing a six-core, or even a cheaper quad-core CPU can make all the difference. You'll be able to multi-task with speed.
-You can overclock your rig. Using CMOS/BIOS, you are able to take advantage of that extra RAM or that Six-core CPU.
-Graphics cards. The top-of-the-line ones can be expensive, but you can get a nice Radeon HD 5770 (with the highest, 2560 X 1600 resolution---you can only get up to 1920 X 1080 supported on an XBox or PS3.) for about $140.
-After you get a PC like this set up, the last thing on your mind will be "laggy games." And even with a lower-end PC, all you have to do is lower the resolution, or AA if you have it enabled, resulting in choppy graphics, but enjoyable gameplay.
-You can get mini PC towers (cases) for about $15-$40. They are less heavy, but you also need to buy mini-motherboards and certain graphic cards may not fit.
-As for portability, you can hook up you laptop to a monitor so you can use it on the bigger screen (or both if your laptop supports that) and then unplug the laptop and take it wherever you want.
And yes, it is possible to customize laptops, too, although some models are different and less modular. My advice? Don't get one of them crappy netbooks. Overpriced and not even powerful.
(Off topic: Should I add that smiley?)

Specify the game "Battlefront." If it is what I think it is, even the PS2 version of Battlefront is moddable, using Mod Tools and some exhausting process.Clonehunter wrote:Thing is though, PC is extremely modable. You underated PC
I just recently bought an Asus X54C-BBK15 for $320. 4GB RAM, dual Intel Pentium processors @ 2.20 GHz and I'm not sure the graphics card, its an Intel one, AND you said they weren't portable? This is a laptop if you don't want to look it up. So all in all I like this computer a bit more than my X-box 360. Why? Because all the cool things you can do with it (i.e. modding).
