Lie to Me (Game)

Ok, so my friend and I were playing his game one time and it was actually pretty fun, so i thought I would post it here. The game is called "Lie to Me." Basically, all you do is post three things about youself, two of them truth, one a lie. The first person to guess what the lie is wins, and then its their turn.

Example:

Code:

Bob:

I walked today

I ran today

I flew to Mars Today


Joe:

#3 is a lie


Bob:

Yup, your turn


Joe:

I talked today

I sat today

I walked to mars today


and so on.

I'll start it off

1: I have broken my wrist

2: I have driven a car

3: I have made a movie



Which is the lie?

3 is the lie.

I've made two movies, me and a couple of my friends did for fun, they are on youtube.

I don't really see how you could pull something like this off on the Internet but.... whatever. I'm going to guess that number 3 is the lie.

Seeing how this thread is going, I don't think taking turns will work out so well.

3. And I agree with Gopher, taking turns on a forum is bad, you'd need some kind of special modification to stop cheating, run the turns etc, which we know is impossible on Forumotion.

And I have to disagree with both of you. Taking turns is just fine, so long as users pay attention to who's turn it is. And I don't really see how you could cheat (again. this is the internet, so I'm going to go ahead and say that very few people (if any) on here actually know each other IRL, which is the only way cheating would be possible...).

(For the record, I never said taking turns was "bad," I just was making an unnecessary comment based on self-claimed "experience"). That's the thing: Our general mass of users is not the kind that would bother with the organization of taking turns. Many users won't bother to look back in the thread to see who went last. Sure, it's not hard to figure out, and I mean no disrespect to the users, but that's just the experience [we] have as staff. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong in due course.

Cheating on a forum game like this is rather sad, if it is indeed possible.
