i have played battlefield 1942. i think its ok.

battlefield 1942 rocks. can't wait for battlefield 1943 see the trailer at youtube.com they have kept some of the old graphics and just updated the gameplay a little but look likes a gooood midnight fun

is taht one of those games where you are in a plane and you have to shot down other planes?

To answer ShadowRaptors question (i call you that cuz some people dont know what ryu means) and to give my opinion on the game

Battlefield 1943 is where your in the World War 2 Pacific Campaign, where you can choose from three gun types, (rifles, Sub-Machines and Autos, and snipers, your gun improves as you gain XP in each class) you can go into a plane and bomb the enemy base, capture enemy territories, zoom around in a jeep or destroy in a tank. The game environment is 97% destructible, and graphics are fairly good for a 15 dollar game. FPS, (first person shooter) a various array of grenades, online chat, ranks,

i have the game, and, for such a modest price, i give it a 9/10. why? no kill cam. You have no clue who shot you or if a plane bombed you or if a tank pwnd you or anything. Also, the Online Chat quality leaves a lot to be desired.
