Welcome to jurassic mods!
To upload a file yourself you must do it with filefront or some other uploading site like Rapidshare, or filebeam.
Pictures can be uploaded with servimg or some other image hosting site like imageshack
You just need to put it in a .zip file before you upload

Also you can put videos and flash things in a post. Experiment with the buttons in the edit bar.
