In other words:
If somebody said every day "it will rain tomorrow" then one day they will be correct, even if they have been wrong every other time.

This is no reason to think them true, especially if they have been wrong every other time.

A reason to pack a raincoat is when it looks like rain, or when the meteorologists say there will be rain. Not when somebody with a bad track record claims rain, even though logically he will be right at some point.

Mayans And Aztecs predicted Quetzalcoatl. A person came called Cortez. They thought it was Quetzalcoatl. Led him into the city. Got Destroyed. Do you think we should be taking advice from people that got themselves destroyed?
