OK, heres where you come for .FSM advice and how-tos. I will update it with tips and tricks for you, and keep it very organized.

Where are the .fsm files located, and what do they do?

.fsm files are located in the Units/Win folder. They are basically the fiber and flow to the game, keeping everything in balance and controlling behavior of the dinos.

How do i open an FSM file?

To open an FSM, you have to right click the .fsm file, and click "open with"
then, you choose notepad.
And it will open for your happy-editing and modding!
*if the "open with" option doesn't show up, just double click the file, it will most likely say "windows could not identify how to open this file" or something along those lines.
then, what you do is choose the option "select from list" and then from there you choose notepad.

Simple FSM'ing
FSMing is Extremely difficult and odds are you wont be able to do it right off the bat, so here are some examples. Like, if you go to the SpinAmbush.fsm, you can mod it enough that it goes after raptors less, and humans more by editing the line GrabHumanCheck to GrabRaptorCheck.
