Sorry to tell ya, but most things don't (usually) go like that.

Some Do. You have to show dominance over what is threatening you.

That may work with a dog. Of course, dogs have been trained over the years and breeded (expecially german shepards)

But Raptors and other dinosaurs would just go by instinct, and if they find you as no threat, they will surely decide to continue. We don't know how they would behave, so in a way, we are both wrong.

actully nobody knows, it may be small, but its millions of years old. For all we know, it could be the deadliest, or the weakest.

Well, depicting from their elite hunting tools, claw, teeth, I would not go off on a limb and say they where anywhere near "weak". For it's time, I am not saying it's an Apex predator, but I am saying that it probably was a great hunter, whatever it did hunt, it did a good job of doing so.

But the thing is, what if it only ate rats and little dinos smaller than it? The world may know one day. But for right now, nobody knows.Im not saying its weak, im not saying its strong. We cant just say. "Its a predator with claws. Its the fastesr, most ferious killing dinosaur."

I didn't say that. Usually when predators are equipped with strong hunting tools, they are very adept at hunting. The claw tells us it was a hunter. Not a scavenger.

All Im saying is that maybe the raptor wasnt as fearsome as we think. Or what if he was the most fearsome.(unlikely though for its size, but size doesnt matter) Or velociraptor could have been killing animals smaller then it like lizards, and rats.

Small animals often have good hunting tools and within their epoch are pretty good hunters.

But in the same way you could probably beat a fox, so you could probably beat a raptor

But you may never know. for all we know, velociraptor could have jumped 7 feet in the air! (doubt it) And, if you go get a bat and start swinging it, what about how people say there all swift and fast? It can dodge it most likely. It could have been one of those predators that fight back.

It's bone structure tell us it had the potential to jump just that.

But still, didn't it have hollow bones?

A single hit would cripple it

Exactly, if it did jump like that, even get pushed into a tree, it would pretty much be crippled, like what nova said.

Probably. I have to look into that.

Also, what would be able to hit (like wack into) a creature with such great agility?
